SECTION, 1. BE IT .ORDAINED BY THE ,COXHON COUNCIL :OF THE CITY OF
RICHMOND, INDIANA, that Section 2." bf 'Ordinance- Number 1351-1948, as
amended.by Ordinance Number 1378-1949; as..amended by Ordinance
Number, 1417-19509 ; as amended b. Ordinance by Ordinance Number. 1468-
1952, be,amended'to read as follows:.
SECTION 2..In: order to effect the purpose 'in this`Ordinance ex-
pressed, there -are hereby reestablished and fixed certain zones to 'be
.,known as parking meter zones., in the following'streets,- highways and -
avenues 'in the -City of Richmond, Indiana
(a) . East Main . Street, from the east side of Fourth
Street` to. the east side of Eleventh Street: Fort-.
Wayne Avenue, from East Main Street to North
Street: Fort Wayne Avenue, from.north side`of
North`. "D" Street to the west side of North -Eighth
Street: North ",EllStreet on south side .thereof,
from east side of North EighthStreet to .west side
of North Tenth Street: Elm Place,: from east side
of' North Eighth Street to west side of North
Ninth Street: Seventh Street, Eighth Street and.
Ninth'Street, from.'south.side of North "A" Street,'
to North,side of South "A'! Street.
(b) Fifth Street, Sixth Street and Tenth Street,
from south side of North "A" .Street-, to north side
of South "A" Street, to south -side of North "B",
Street.
(c) North "A".Street and South UA" Street, from
west side of Fifth -Street to east side of Tenth
Street'; -Eighth Street, from the - north. side of
South "A" Street to north side bf South,"C"
Street.
and from time ' to time hereafter as traffic conditions require, in such
other streets, and -avenues -as are designated. by ordinance of Council
for the -location of -such zones
In any of the said parking meter. zones, or a4. parr. or prtions of,said
separately designated parking -meter. zones-i�. the Boardn. of Public Works
and Safety may cause parking meters to be installed at each space in
such zones, in Its discretion, available for, parking of vehicle, ",or
vehicles, and shall see that there shall be plainly indicated on each
of such meters: the time -limitations for. ,parkin.g' Such time limitations
shall be designated -by appropriate notice.posted in-promimity of such
meters.-
This Ordinance, shall be in full force and.effect from'.and
after ..its passage, and approval, by the Mayor -and publication -as is re-.*.
quired by law.o
