AN ORDINANCE amending Ordinance No. 1472-1953, commonly known as the Zoning
Ordinance -of Richmond, approved April 21, 1953.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City -of Richmond, Indiana;
SECTION 1. WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 1472-1953 commonly known as the
Zoning Ordinance of Richmond and the Zone Maps made a part thereof, designates
and describes as Suburban District, the following described territory in the
Two -Mile Jurisdictional Area beyond the corporate limits of said City, in
Wayne County, State of Indiana, to -wit:
All the territory fronting on the south side of National Road West, and
extending from the center line of Meyers Road westwardly, measured along the
center line of said National Road six hundred sixty (660) feet and extending
south of the center line of'National Road three hundred ninety three (393)
feet, said territory being "the Northwest Quarter of Fractional Section 1,
Township 13 North, Range 2 West.
WHEREAS, it is the purpose and intention hereof to change the use of
said territory to "Local Business District".
NOW THEREFORE:
SECTION 2. It is hereby ordained that the use district in the Zoning
Ordinance .and on the Zone Map be, and same is hereby changed covering the
above described territory to "Local Business District" and that the said
territory and the use and area thereof be regulated accordingly.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage, approval,by the Mayor, and publication as by law required./
