AN ORDINANCE amending Ordinance No. 1472-1953, commohly known as the
Zoning Ordinance of Richmond, approved April 21, 1953.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana;
SECTION 1. WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 1472-1953 commonly known as the
Zoning Ordinance of Richmond and the Zone Maps made a part thereof, designates
and describes as "B" Residential District, the following described territory
in said City of Richmond, Mayne County, State of Indiana, to -wit:
The territory on the north side of National Road extending from the
west end of "Local Business District" between Southwest 15th and
Southwest 16th Streets to Southwest 16th Street and between National
Road and the first alley north of and parallel thereto.
IvHEREAS, it is the purpose and intention hereof to change the use of said
territory to "Local Business District".
NOW THEREFORE:
SECTION 2. It is hereby ordained that the use district in the Zoning
Ordinance and on the Zone Map be, and same is hereby changed covering the
above described territory to "Local Business District" and that the said
territory and the use and area thereof be regulated accordingly.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage, approval by the Mayor, andpublication as by law required.
