AN ORDINANCE amending Ordinance No. 1472-1953, commonly known as the
Zoning Ordinance of Richmond, approved April 21, 1953.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Conmion Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana;
SECTION 1. WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 1472-1953 commonly.known as the
Zoning Ordinance of Richmond and the Zone Maps made a part thereof, designates
and describes as "C" Residential District, the following described territory
in said City of Richmond, Wayne County, State of Indiana, to -wits
The territory on the west side of North loth Street, from,North "H"
Street to the first east -west alley north of North "III Street and
extending from North loth Street to the first north -south alley west
thereof.
, EREAS, it'is the purpose and intention hereof to change the use of said
territory to 11Local Business District."
NOW T11EREFO' E :
SECTION 2. It is hereby ordained that the use district in the Zoning
Ordinance and on the Zone Map be, and same is hereby changed covering the
above described territory to "Local Business District" and that the said
territory and the use and area thereof be regulated accordingly.

SECTION 3. 'This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and=
after its passage, approval by the Mayor, pnd publication as by law required..
PASSED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, this
day of 19 54.
