Regular adjourned meeting;-
IuIayor Ross presiding and all councilmen present.
It was duly moved and seconded that the reading of the last
minutes be dispensed with- motion carried.
Application for a Cigarette permit by Nott h Pappas was
presented, and it was moved by Luwe seconded by Kruse that
we grant a Cigarette permit to Nott dc�'appas.

It was moved by Okones second by Luwe that Cigarette
Bond of Nott do Pappes be approved -

Mayor Ross declared both motions passed.
Councilman Luwe introduced a Resolution asking the Board
of Supervisors to cancel the 1940 taxes on the property
afiquired for Park purposes being part of Lot 12 of hhe
Co Aud 1926 plat of the NW 14-88-18, the amount of tax being
$24.38. and moved that the Mayor and Clerk petition the Board
for the above exemption,- motion second by Okones,

D W Riekena, president of the Fire Com�any, requested that
the council purchase some more Fire ose.
It was moved. by Lindeman second by Luwe that we purchase
200 feet of fire hose- motion carried.
It was moved. by Okones seconded by Kruse that the old north
well in tYie Pump house be plugged. Motion carried -
It was moved by Kruse second by Lindeman that a new Windshield_ be
ordered for the Pick-up - motion carried.
It was moved anti. seconded that the Marshall be

two weeks vacation motion carried.
It was moved that the Clerk send a bill to Rudolph Hook
in the amount of �50.00 for services rendered by
our Fire
company- motion carried.
