Crone, Dick Smith and Paul Wolff. Also attending were City Manager Schleicher and

*Mr. Wolff moved to approve the Consent Agenda, Ms. Doyle seconded and the vote was
unanimous.

0006533 Chatham County) - construction of US 80/SR 26 sidewalks (17th to Teresa Ave):
amendment to increase grant from $80,000 to $160,000: local cost share of project ($40,000) to
come from budget line item 100-4210-54-1410 Approved-Consent Agenda

Water Conservation Program: letter of agreement between MPC and City of Tybee; proposal
Water Conservation Program from MPC: annual cost for program would be $17,000 from budget

Amendment in Beach Renourishment donations line item 100-00-33-6015 ($35,000);

Request for 100 parking passes at a reduced rate of $5/pass for use during the SCAD Sand Arts
Festival on 5-2-08 Mr. Wolff moved to approve reduced fee, Mr. Smith seconded and the
vote was unanimous.
Special Event/Tybee Fest-Beach Bum Weekend- request to hold special event in Memorial Park on
May 16 & 17 and request fees be waived including facility rental and DPW services. Estimated
Cost($766.) Mr. Wolff moved to approve event, Ms. Doyle seconded and the vote was
unanimous. /Mr. Wolff moved to approve waiving fees this time,Ms. Doyle seconded
and the vote was unanimous.
Georgia State Harley Owners Rally- request waiving or reduction of fees for vendors- Cost to waive
fees = ($1,500) 20 vendors $25 per day, per vendor-cost to reduce fees = ($1,000) 20 vendors
$25 per vendor for event. Mr. Brown moved to continue until May 8, 2008, Mr. Brewer
seconded and the vote was unanimous.

Apply for $100,000 GEFA Grant to get remaining septic tanks on sewer, no matching funds
required - non site specific Approved for City Manager to look into where this can be done
and bring back to council -Consent Agenda.
Proposal for Dogs on the Beach Mr. Wolff moved to approve for the City Manager to
Contact Health Department, DNR and at least 3 Veterinarians to get opinions on health
issues of dogs on the beach, Mr. Brown seconded and the vote was unanimous.
