AN ORDINANCE amending Ordinance No. 14.72-1953, commonly known as the
Zoning Ordinance of Richmond, approved April 21, 1953.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana;
SECTION 1. WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 1.4.72-1953 commonly known as the
Zoning Ordinance of Richmond and the Zone Maps made a part thereof, designates
and describes as "C" Residential District, the following described territory
in'taid City of Richmond, Wayne County, State of Indiana, to -wit:
The territory on the east side of North loth Street, from North "Hs'
to North "J" Street and extending from North.10th Street to the first
north -south alley east.thereof.
WHEREAS, it is the purpose and intention hereof to change the use of said
territory to "Local Business District."
NOW THEREFORE: -
SECTION 2. It is hereby ordained that the use district in the Zoning
Ordinance and on the'Zone Map be, and same is hereby changed covering the
above described territory to "Local Business Districts! and that the said
territory and the use and area thereof be regulated accordingly.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage, approval by the Mayor: and publication as by law required.
