AN ORDINANCE TO ANNEX TO THE CITY OF RICHMOND,.INDIANA, CERTAIN TERRITORY
CONTIGUOUS THERETO, DESCRIBING THE SAME, PROVIDING FOR THE PUBLICATION THEREOF
AND FIXING THE TIME WHEN THE SAME SHALL TAKE EFFECT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, WAYNE COUNTY,
INDIANA.
SECTION No. 1--That the following described territory be annexed to and
declared to be part of the said City of Richmond, Indiana:
Bein a part of the Southwest Quarter of Section Five (5), Township
Thirteen f13) North, Range One (1) West, in the County of Wayne, State of
Indiana described as follows:
Beginning at a point which is the southwest corner of Lot No. 48 of
F3unt'ls '. Addition, said point being six hundred and seven (607) feet south
of the north line of said Southeast Quarter of Section Five (5) and five
hundred and sixty (560) feet east of the west line of said Quarter Section;
thence north, parallel with the west line of said Quarter Section
six hundred and seven (607) feet to the north line of said Quarter Section,
being in the center line of Southwest "E" Street;
thence east, along the north line of said Quarter Section, four hundred
fifty two and fifteen hundredths (452.15) feet, more or less, to the east
line of Southwest Third Street, extended, as platted in Huntfs Addition;
thence south and southwestwardly, along the said east line of Southwest
Third Street, as platted in Hunt9s Addition, to the south line of said Hunt's
Addition at the southwest corner of Lot No. 69 of said Addition;
. thence west, along the south line of said Hunts Addition three hundred
twenty and seven tenths (320.7) feet, more or less, to the place of beginning.
SECTION No. 2--This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval by the Mayor and publication as by law required.
