AN ORDINANCE amending Ordinance No. 1472-1953 commonly known as the
Zoning Ordinance of the City of Richmond, Indiana approved April 21, 1953.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana;
SECTION l.--WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 1472-1953 commonly known as the
Zoning Ordinance of the City of Richmond, Indiana by the Zone Map, made
a part thereof, designates and described as "A" Residential District the
following described territory in said City of Richmond, Wayne County, State
of Indiana, to -wit:
The territory within three hundred fifty five (355) feet west of the
east line of the Southwest Quarter of Section Thirty Four (34), Township
Fourteen (14) North, Range One (1) West, which Quarter Section line is in
Henley Road,and within two hundred forty three (243) feet south of.the
south line of National Road, excepting the northeast part of said territory
now zoned as "Local Business District", and
WHEREAS, it is the purpose and intention hereof to change the use
classification of said territory to "Local Business District".
NOW THEREFORE:
SECTION 2.--It is hereby ordained that the use district on the Zone
Map be and the same is hereby changed for the above described territory to
"Local Business District" and that said territory and the use and area
thereof be regulated accordingly.
SECTION 3.--This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage, approval by the Mayor and publication as by law required.
Passed by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, this
