AN ORDINANCE amending Ordinance No. 1472-1953, comonly known as the Zoning
Ordinance of the City of Richmond, approved April 21, 1953,
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana;
SECTION 1. WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 1472-1953, commonly known as the
Zoning Ordinance of Richmond and the Zone Maps made a part thereof, designates
and describes as "Suburban District", the following described territory in the
Two -Mile Territorial Jurisdictional Area beyond the corporate limits of said
City, in Wayne County, State of Indiana, to -wit:
From the south line of "Heavy Industrial District", as now indicated,
north of Indiana Avenue and immediately west of Northwest 5th Street to Indiana
Avenue and extending west two hundred forty seven and fifty hundredths (247.50)
feat from the east line of Section 31, Township 14 North, Range 1 West, in
Northwest 5th Street,
From Indiana .Avenue south to the north corporation line of said City and.
extending west three hundred thirty (330) feet from the east line of Section 31,
Township 14 North, Range 1 West in Northwest 5th Street, and
WHEREAS,. it is the purpose and intention hereof to change.the use of
said territory to that of "Limited Industrial District".
NOW THEREFORE%
SECTION 2. It is hereby ordained that the use district in the Zoning .
Ordinance and on the Zone Map be, and the same is hereby changed covering the
above described territory to "Limited Industrial District" and that the said
territory and the use and area thereof be regulated accordingly.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage,,approval by the Mayor and publication as bylaw required.
Passed by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana this
