AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, APPRO-
PRIATING THE SUM.OF NINE .THOUSAND.DOLLARS ($99000.00).
OUT OF THE FUNDS OF. THE MUNICIPAL ELECTRIC LIGHTING
AND POWER PLANT• 'FOR THE PURCHASE OF REAL ESTATE TO BE
USED BY THE MUNICIPAL ELECTRIC LIGHTING AND POWER PLANT.
WHEREAS, the Common .Council of the City.,of
Richmond,'Indiana, acting as a committee of the whole
for the operation of the Municipal Electric Lighting
and Power Plant; a part.of the City of Richmond,'has
heretofore requested the Board of Public Works and
Safety of such City to purchase certain real estate
situate on -Northwest, 5".Street iri Richmond and belonging
to the .Wayne County Farm ,`Bureau .-Co-Op, to be used -by said
Common (buncil as such Committee for the Municipal Elec�
tri.c Lighting, and -Power Plant V a t and -for the sum of. .
Nine Thousand .Dollars,.'($9,,000.00); and
WHEREAS, it would be to the best interests
of said City -of; Richmond and''its citizens that said pur-
chase be made;.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by -the Common
Council ' of -the 'City of.- Richmond, Indiana

Dollars ($9,000.00) be appropriated out of the funds
of 'the Municipal Electric Lighting. and Power Plant, to
-be used by. the Board of Public Vlorks and Safety in pur-
chasin& the following described real estate, to -wit:

west, in Wayrie' County-, State of Indiana, more particularly
described as follows:. Beginning at a point in.th e west
