ORDINANCE 2001 - i(p
AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A SCHOOL ZONE AND
REDUCING THE SPEED LIMIT WITHIN
THE CITY OF GREENCASTLE, INDIANA, PUTNAM COUNTY
WHEREAS, the Greencastle Community School Corporation has constructed a new Primary
School to replace Jones Primary School; and
WHEREAS, the City of Greencastle desires to establish a new school zone for the health and
safety of its students.
NOW THEREFORE be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Greencastle that
the following roads, streets and rights -of -way be designated as School Zones and the speed limit
reduced to 20 Miles Per Hour:
Shadowlawn Avenue East of Arlington Street
Robinwood Place
Hillcrest Drive
® Quail Ridge Drive
Deerfield Drive North
Deerfield Court East
Dog wood Lane
Redbud Lane
Meadow Drive
Fawnview Lane
This Ordinance shall have full force and effect upon passage of the Greencastle Common
Council and its approval by the Mayor.
