A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF RICHMOND POWER
AND LIGHT DECLARING JANUARY 7, 1999 "DALE NORRIS" DAY AT ALL
RP&L FACILITIES
Dale Norris began working for Richmond Power & Light on June 24,
1957 as a laborer; and
WHEREAS,
WHEREAS,
WHEREAS,
WHEREAS,
WHEREAS,
Dale Norris has continued to work for RP&L for over forty-one years; and
Dale Norris has been instrumental in making the Whitewater Valley
Generating Station a model station, recognized internationally for its
efficiency and innovation; and
Dale has been involved with or directed numerous environmental projects
that have advanced technology and benefited the entire utility industry;
and
on April 18, 1990 Dale Norris was promoted to Power Production
Manager, a position he currently holds; and
on February 1, 1999 Dale Norris will retire from Richmond Power and
Light; and
WHEREAS, a retirement party shall be held for Dale Norris on January 7, 1999; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of Richmond Power and Light wish to express their
appreciation and gratitude to Dale for over forty-one years of service; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of Richmond Power and Light also wishes to
express their thanks to Dale's wife Barbara and his family for their support
and understanding of Dale's commitment to RP&L.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of Richmond
Power and Light that January 7, 1999 shall be declared "Dale Norris" Day at all
Richmond Power and Light facilities.
Passed and adopted this day of 1999, by the Richmond Power &
Light Board of Directors o-~"~e City of Richmond, Indiana.
