AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF A SPECIAL USE PERMIT
TO ALLOW A PHARMACY DRIVE-THRU AT THE
NORTHWEST CORNER OF ILLINOIS ROUTE 59
AND 135TH STREET
ADOPTED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF PLAINFIELD

AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF A SPECIAL USE PERMIT
TO ALLOW A PHARMACY DRIVE-THRU AT THE NORTHWEST
CORNER OF ILLINOIS ROUTE 59 AND 135T" STREET
WHEREAS, the Village of Plainfield Plan Commission has recommended that the
application for a special use permit to allow a Pharmacy Drive-thru be granted and has made
certain findings based on the evidence presented to it in said case that:
a. The establishment, maintenance or operation of the special use will not be
detrimental to, or endanger the public health, safety and general welfare; and
b. The special use will not be injurious to the use and enjoyment of other property in
the immediate area for the purposes already permitted, nor substantially diminish
and impair property values within the neighborhood; and
c. The establishment of the special use will not impede the normal and orderly
development and improvement of the adjacent property for uses permitted within
the district.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF PLAINFIELD, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Plainfield hereby
adapt and incorporate as their own, the above findings made by the Plan Commission.
Section 2. That the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Plainfield hereby
approve the application by the owner for a special use permit to allow a pharmacy drive-thru
far the following tract of land to wit:
THAT PART OF THE EAST THREE QUARTERS OF THE SOUTH HALF OF THE
SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF SECTION 33, TOWNSHIP 37 NORTH, RANGE 9, EAST OF
THE THIRD PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN DESCRIBED AS BEGININNG AT THE SOUTHWEST
CORNER OF THE AFORESAID EAST THREE QUARTERS OF THE SOUTH HALF OF
THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF SAID SECTION 33 AND RUNING THENCE NORTH 0°
06' 18" WEST ALONG THE WEST LINE OF SAID EAST THREE QUARTERS, 1323.75
FEET TO THE NORTH LINE OF THE AFORESAID SOUTH HALF; THENCE SOUTH 89°
41' 39" EAST, ALONG SAID NORTH LINE 1993.39 FEET, TO THE EAST LINE OF THE
AFORESAID SOUTHEAST QUARTER; THENCE SOUTH 0° 03' 08" EAST, ALONG SAID
EAST LINE 421.74 FEET; THENCE NORTH 89° 33' 12" WEST, 715.44 FEET; THENCE
SOUTH 45° 10' 00" WEST 391.77 FEET; THENCE SOUTH 0° 1$' 12" WEST 586A0 FEET;
THENCE SOUTH 89° 41' 48" EAST PARALLEL WITH THE SOUTH LINE OF SAID
SECTION 33, A DISTANCE OF 947.20 FEET TO THE WEST LINE OF ILLINOIS ROUTE
59, THENCE SOUTH 0° 26' 48" WEST ALONG THE WEST LINE OF SAID ROUTE 59, A
DISTANCE OF 40.00 FEET TO THE SOUTH LINE OF SAID SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF
SECTION 33; THENCE NORTH 89° 41' 48" WEST ALONG THE AFORESAID SOUTH LINE
OF THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER 1941.86 FEET, MORE OR LESS, TO THE POINT OF
BEGINNING, ALL IN WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be numbered as Ordinance No. ~ a 5 z
This Ordinance shall be in full farce and effect from and after its passage, approval, and
publication as required by law.
