HomeMy Public PortalAbout2RESOLUTION NO. 2-1999 A Resolution of the Richmond Power and Light Board of Directors fixing the number and compensation of employees Indiana Code 8-1.5-3-4 requires the Board of Directors ora municipally owned utility to fix the number and compensation of its employees, and WHEREAS Richmond Power and Light has customarily adjusted the compensation of its employees on a fiscal year basis beginning October 1, 1999, and ending September 30, 2000. NOW, THEREFORE the Richmond Power and Light Board of Directors hereby resolves to fix the number of salaried employees and the compensation of same for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 1999, and ending September 30, 2000, by adopting attached Schedule "A". Furthermore said Board hereby resolves to fix the numbers of hourly employees and the compensation of same for the same fiscal year by adopting attached Schedule "B" Furthermore the General Manager of Richmond Power and Light is authorized to hil any vacancy among employees that may occur from time to time. The position of Assistant General Manager, and any new positions, may be acquired per approval of the Board. Furthermore an automobile use allowance shall be provided for the General Manager. Furthermore the General Manager is authorized to implement any two step/six month interval classification increase required to be provided to an employee pursuant to the employee's classification. Furthermore the General Manager is authorized to give a single merit increase not to exceed 5% for any employee. In further addition to the salaries established herein, all employees shall also be entitled to the fringe benefits set forth within the e,m~ployee ~olicy manual.
