AN ORDINANCE TO ANC TO THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA AND ZONE CERTAIN
TERRITORY CONTIGUOUS THERETO DESCRIBING THE SAME, AMENDING, SUPPLLI+MENTING
AND CHANGING GENERAL ORDINANCE No. 711-1923, COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING
ORDINANCE, PROVIDING FOR THE PUBLICATION THEREOF, AND FIXING TIE TIME WHEN
THE SAME SHALL TAKE EFFECT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICMvIOND, WAYNE COUNTY,
INDIANA.
SECTION No. 1--That the following described territory be annexed to and
declared to be a part of the said City of Richmond, Indiana;
Being a part of the Northwest Quarter of Section Three (3) Township
Thirteen (13) North, Range One (1) Kest, contiguous to the City of Richmond,
Wayne County, State of Indiana, described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the Easterly Corporation Line of the City of
Richmond, said point being One Thousand Forty and Eighty One Hundredths
(1040.81) Feet south and Seven Hundred and Sixty Eight (768) Feet east of
the Northwest corner of said Northwest Quarter of Section Three (3);
thence east parallel with the north line of said Section Three (3), Six
Hundred Seventy Nine and Ninety Three Hundredths (679.93) Feet -
thence south Eleven Degrees and Fifty Eight Minutes Jest �S.110-58' W),
Eight Hundred Thirty and Seventeen Hundredths (830.17) Feet to a point in the
south line of property of the Heirs of Eliza Charles;
thence west, along the said south line of property of Heirs of 'Eliza
Charles, Five Hundred Seven and Eight Tenths (507.80) Feet to the Easterly
Corporation Line of the City of Richmond;
thence north, along the Easterly Corporation Line of the City of Richmond,
Eight Hundred Twelve and Thirteen Hundredths (812.13) Feet to the place of
beginning.
SECTION No. 2--That the provisions of General Ordinance No. 71,.1-1923, commonly
known as the Zoning Ordinance, approved April 2/., 1923, and as amended, be and
are hereby amended, supplemented, changed and extended so as to include the
above described territory which shall be zoned as follows:
DIEELLING HOUSE DISTRICT
7500 Sq. Ft. AREA DISTRICT
50 Feet --HEIGHT DISTRICT
SECTION No. 3--This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage and approval by the Mayor and publication as by law required.
