COLLINS, PLAINFIELD, ILLINOIS. PzN #o3-i~-col-ors WHEREAS, the Corporate Authorities of the Village of Plainfield have previously caused notice stating that the annexation of the territory described in the notice is contemplated under 65 ILCS 5/7-1-13 by publishing in a newspaper of general circulation within the territory to be annexed not less than ten (10) days before the passage of the ordinance; and WHEREAS, the property in question consists of unincorporated territory containing less than sixty (60) acres, which is wholly bounded by the Corporate limits of the Village of Plainfield; and WHEREAS, Illinois statues provide that upon the publication of the notices described above, a municipality may annex said property by adopting an ordinance describing the territory to be annexed and a copy thereof together with an accurate map of the annexed territory shall be recorded in the office of the Recorder of Deeds of Will County, Illinois, and a document of annexation shall be filed with the Will County Clerk's office. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF. TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF PLAINFIELD, as follows: Sec. 1: Territor Described. That the following described tract of land herein called territory, to-wit: See document attached hereto and made a part hereof as Exhibit "A" be, and the same is hereby annexed to and declared part of the Village of Plainfield, a Municipal Corporation. Sec. 2: Village Limits Extended. That the Village limits of the Village of Plainfield be, and the same are hereby extended to include the above described territory. ;63 ~~~~~~~:~~7~~ Sec. 3: Ordinance No. 1 Amended. That Ordinance No. 1 of the Village of Plainfield be amended as follows: That the limits of the Village of Plainfield shall be extended to include the tract of land described in Section 1 hereof. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith be, and the same are hereby repealed. This Ordinance shall be numbered as Ordinance No. 1921 and shall take effect upon its passage and approval in accordance with the provisions of the Statutes of the State of Illinois in such case made and provided and the Village Clerk shall certify two copies of this Ordinance together with an accurate map of the annexed territory and file same in the Office of the County Clerk and the Village Clerk shall certify a copy of this Ordinance together with an accurate map of the annexed territory and record same in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds of said Will County.
