ZONING AMENDMENTS TO ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 674, CHAPTER 8,
ARTICLE 6, SECTIONS 6-1 THROUGH 6--35
Sec. 7-62: Rezoning of FRANK PARKS, JR., MARGARET M. PARKS,
RICHARD A. PARKS, DOROTHY C. PARKSy JEFFREY A.
DEMENT and CAROLYN DEMENT Property
WHEREAS, a public hearing was duly advertised and held an
the amendment to said Chapter 8, Article 6, Sections 6,-1 through 6-35
(Ordinance No. 674) of said Village of Plainfield as hereinafter set
forth; and
and
WHEREAS, this property is subject to an annexation agreement;
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Plainfield has
heretofore filed a report of its acts and doings in the premises and
its recommendation that the petition for the rezoning of all of the
real estate hereinafter described from County zoning to a.B-1 District
under sa~.d Chapter 8, Article 6, Sections 6-1 through 6-35, entitled
"An Ordinance Requiring Permits for Buildings, Structures, and Uses,
Dividing the Village into Districts, Specifying Minimum Lot Sizes,
Set Backs and Side Yards, Regulating the Bulk of Buildings, Providing
for Appeals and Imposing Penalties," be granted; and
' WHEREAS, we believe that the highest and best use of the real
estate hereinafter described is for uses permitted in a.:B-1 District
under said Chapter 8, Article 6, Sections 6-1 through 6-35; and
WHEREAS, no written objections to the rezoning of said
premises were filed and no one appeared in person to object to the
rezoning of said real estate; and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Plainfield that the petition for the
rezoning of the real estate hereinafter described should be granted
and that said real estate should be rezoned and reclassified from
County zoning to a B-l District under said Zoning Ordinance.
NOW THEREFORE, BE YT ORDAINED HY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD
OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF PLAINFIELD, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS,
as Fallaws:
Sec. 7--62-1: Territor Described. That the following tract of
and, to-wit:
The West 230 feet of Lot 18, except the West 120 feet
thereof, in Unit No. 1, of Plainfield Acres, a Subdivision
of the South 2,301 feet of the .West half of the Southwest
quarter of said Section 15, in Township 36 North, and in
Range 9 East of the Third Principal Meridian, according to
the Plat thereof recorded July 2, 1951, i.n Plat Book 27.,
Page 55, as Document No. 694113, in Will County. Illinois,
Sec. 7-62-2: If Part Invalid. The invalidity of any part or
section hereof shall not effect the validity of the remainder
hereof .
Sec. 7-62-3: This Ordinance, numbered as 1082 shall be in full
force and effect after its passage and approval.
