Sec. 8-$4; AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING PROPERTY OWNED~BY'~.~ FRANK PARRS, JR., MARGARET M. PARKS, RICHARD A. PARKS, DOROTHY C. PARKS, JEFFREY A. DEMENT and CAROLYN DEMENT WHEREAS, the real estate hereinafter described is con- tiguous to the Village of Plainfield and is not within the territorial limits of any other municipality; and WHEREAS, no electors reside thereon; and WHEREAS, the owner of the property hereinafter described has petitioned for annexation of the property to the Village of Plainfield; and WHEREAS, notices as required by statute have been served and published, and a proper hearing has been held; and WHEREAS, it is for the best interest of the Village of Plainfield that said territory be annexed to the Village. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED SY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF PLAINFIELD, as follows: Sec. 8-84-1: Territory Described. That the following described tract o land herein called territory, to-wit: All that certain piece .of parcel of land, situated in the County of Will, State of Illinois, in the Teiest half of the Southwest quarter of Section 15, in Township 36 North, and in Range 9 East of the Third Principal Meridian, described as follows: The West 230 feet of Lot 18, except the West 120 feet thereof, in Unit No. 1, of Plainfield Acres, a Subdivision of the South 2,301 feet of the West half of the Southwest quarter of said Section 15, in Township 36 North, and in Range 9 East of the Third Principal Meridian according to the Plat thereof recorded July 2, 1951, in Plat Sook 27, page 55, as Document Na. 699113, in Will County, Illinois. Sec. 8-$4--2; Village Limits Extended. That the Village limits of the Village of Plainfield be, and the same are hereby extended to include the above described territory. ~~ ~~5-09~~ - .. Sec. 8-$4-3: Ordinance No. 1 Amended. That Ordinance No. 1 of the Village of Plainfield be amended as follows: That the limits of the Village of Plainfield shall be extended to include the tract of land described in Sect~.on $-$4-1 hereof. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict here- with be, and the same are hereby repealed. This Ordinance shall be numbered as Ordinance No. 1081 and shall take effect upon its passage, approval and recording in accordance with the provisions of the Statutes of the State of Illa.nois in such case made and provided and the Village Clerk shall certify two copies of this Ordinance together with an accurate map of the annexed territory and file same in the office of the County Clerk and the Village Clerk shall certify a copy of this Ordinance together with an accurate map of the annexed territory and record same in the office of the Recorder of Deeds of said Will County.
