AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF FORTY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($4O,g00.00)
FROM THE GENERAL FUND OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, NOT OTHERWISE
APPROPRIATED, TO THE GENERAL PARK FUND.
SECTION 1. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RICHMOND, INDIANA, That there be, and there is, hereby appropriated the
sum of Forty Thousand Dollars ($4.0,000.00) out of the General Fund of
the City of -Richmond, Indiana, not otherwise appropriated, to the Gen-
eral Park Fund of said City, and that the General Fund of the City of
Richmond, Indiana, not otherwise appropriated,, be reduced in the sum of
Forty Thousand Dollars 040,000.00), and the General Park Fund be in-
creased by Forty Thousand Dollars ($4.0,'000.00).
SECTION 2. BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That said appropriation
be made on the 31st day of December, 1951.
SECTION 3: BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That said sum of Forty
Thousand Dollars ($4.0,000.00) is.to be used as a working balance in
said General Park Fund for the first five '(5) months of 1952.
SECTION 4. BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That the City Controller
of said City be, and is hereby authorized and directed to make such
transfer.
SECTION 5. BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That an extraordinanry
emergency exists for the passage of this Ordinance.
SECTION 6. BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this Ordinance shall
be in full force and effect upon and after its passage thereof, sign-
ature of the Common Council, and submission to and approval by the
Mayor and the State Board of Tax Commissioners and publication as by
law required.
