ORDINANCE REGARDING SIGNS.

AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF PLAINFIELD, WILL AND
KENDALL COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, THIS 6~" DAY OF JANUARY, 2009.

AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR TEXT AMENDMENTS TO THE VILLAGE OF
PLAINFIELD ZONING ORDINANCE
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF PLAINFIELD, WILL AND KENDALL COUNTIES,
ILLINOIS THAT CHAPTER 9 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE VILLAGE OF
PLAINFIELD BE AMENDED, AS FOLLOWS:
I. Article XI: Signs of the Zoning Ordinances of the Village of Plainfield is hereby
amended as follows:
(1) Section 9-94 (10)(b) is hereby repealed.
(2) Section 9-101(e) is amended to read as follows
Display of temporary signs shall be limited to twenty-one (21) day periods and is
limited to five 5 such periods in a calendar year unless otherwise specified;
(3) Section 9-101 Temporary Sign Standards is amended by the addition of the
following:
(i) Temporary signs are limited to thirty-two (32) square feet..
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval, and
publication in pamphlet form as required by law.
