AN ORDINANCE amending Ordinance No. 7L,1-1923, with its subsequent amendments, commonly
known as the Zoning Ordinance, approved April 2/., 1923, providing for the publication
thereof and fixing the time when the same shall take effect.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana:
SECTION 1 --- WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 741-1923, commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance and
the Zone Map made a part thereof, designates and describes as "Dwelling House District" the
following -described territory'in said City of Richmond,'Wayne County, State of Indiana,
tO.Wit:-
A tract of ground bounded on the North by West Fain .Street, on the South
__..by.the__first -AU ey-sau_th of'_a4d_parallel"with West Pain Street on the East by a line
Ninety-five Feet West of and parallel with the Nest line of Southwest5th Street, an on�
the West by a line One Hundred Seventy Feet West of and parallel with the West line of
Southwest 5th"Street, and
WHtIREAS, it is the purpose and intention hereof to change the use of said
territory to "Business District",
NOW THEREFORE:
SECTION 2 --- It is hereby ordained that the use district in the!Zoning Ordinance and on
the Zone Map be, and the same is hereby changed covering the above -described territory to
'BBusiness District" and that the said territory and the use and area thereof be regulated
accordingly.
SECTION This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage, approval by the Mayor, and publication as by law required.
