AN ORDINANCE TO ANNEX TO THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA) AND ZONE CERTAIN TERRITORY
CONTIGUOUS THERETO, DESCRIBING THE SAME, AMENDING, SUPPLANTING AND CHANGING GENERAL
ORDINANCE NO.. 741-19232 COM40NLY KNO14N AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, PROVIDING FOR THE
PUBLICATION THEREOF, AND FIXING THE TIME WHEN THE SAME SHALL TAKE EFFECT.
BE:'IT ORDAINED by The Common Council of the City of Richmond, Wayne
County, Indiana:
SECTION NO. 1 - That the following described territory be annexed to and declared to
be a part of the said City -,of Richmond, Indiana:
Being a part of the Southeast Quarter of Fractional Section 36,
Township 14 North, Range 2 West, described as follows: Beginning at the intersection
of the present West Corporation Line of said City with the Center -line of the Commons
Road, which point is Six Hundred Seventy -Seven (677.00) Feet West of the East line of
said -Section and running thence•West, alongthe center=line of said Commons Road,
Four Hundred Eighty -Two and Szx Three Hundredths (482.63) Feet, thence South, parallel
with the West line of said Section, Six Hundred Seventy -Six and Eighty Seven Hundredths
(676.87) Feet, thence East Four Hundred.Eighty-Two and Sixty -Three Hundredths (482.63)
Feet to the present West Corporation Line.of said City, which is Six Hundred Seventy -
Seven (677.00) Feet West of'the East line of said Section, at a point Six Hundred
Seventy -Six and Forty -Two Hundredths (676./,2) Feet South of the place of beginning,
thence North, along the present Corporation Line, Six Hundred Seventy -Six and Forty -
Two Hundredths (676.42),Feet to the place of beginning.
SECTION NO. 2 - That the provisions -of General Ordinance No. 741-1923, commonly known
as The Zoning Ordinance, approved April 24, 1923, and as.amended be and are hereby
amended, supplemented, changed and extended so as to include the above -described terri-
tory which shall be zoned as follows:
Dwelling House District
4800 Sq.,Ft. Area District
50 Ft. Height District
SECTION NO, 3 - This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage and approval by the Mayor and publication as by law required.
