A14 ORDIN�!NCE to amend Jection `i%-io of an Ordinance No.
1351-1948, as amended by Ordinance No. 1 '�7,5 -1949,
relating to traffic and regulating the use of public
streets and highways in the City of Richmond, prescribing
regulations relative to the parking of vehicles 'upon such
public streets and highways; providing for the installa-
tion, operation, maintenance, supervision, regulation and
control of the use of parking meters, defining and provid-
ing for the payment thereof, and for the supply of parts
thereof exclusively from the receipts obtain6d from the
operation of parking meters; providing for the enforcement
hereof and providing penalties for the violation hereof.
SECTION 1. BE IT ORDAI14ED by the Common Council of the
City of Richmond that Section two of Ordinance No. 1351-
1948, as amended by Ordinance No. � ,,7,2 -1949; be amended
to read as follows:
"Section 2. In order to effect the purpose in
this Ordinance expressed there are hereby re-established
and fixed certain zones to be known as parking meter zones
in the following streets and avenues in the City of Rich-
mond:
(a) !lain Street from the east side of Fourth
Street to the east side of Eleventh Street; Fort o,ayne
Avenue from north side of D Street to the west side of
North 8th Street; Eighth Street, ninth Street and Tenth
Street from the south side of North 'Trill Street to the
north side of South "All Street.
(b) Fifth Street, Sixth Street and Seventh Street
from the south side of North "All Street to the north side of
South "All Street; the west side of Ninth Street from the
north side of North "All Street to the south side of North
113" Street.
(c) North and South "All Streets from the west
side of Fifth Street .to the east .side of Tenth Street.
