HomeMy Public PortalAboutOrdinance 093493 h~ ~ ~ °' ' • CH14.~~'TER 8 ARTICLE 7 RuZONING AMENDMENTS TO ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 674, CHAPTER 8, ARTICLE 6, SECTIONS 6-1 THROUGH 6-35 °°"'~ LJ -'~ Section '1'--49: Rezoning of Graver Property at 400 James Street, Plainfield, Illinois WHEREAS, a public hearing was duly advertised and held on the amendment to said Chapter $, Article 6, Sections ~-1 through 6-35 (Ordinance #674) of said Village of Plainfield as hereinafter set forth; and WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Plainfield has heretofore filed a report of its act, and d:~ings in the pre~:ises and its recomriendation that the petition for the re- zoning of a~.l of the real estate hereinafter described from Residence A to Residence A-4 District under said Chapter $, Arti- cle 5, Sections 6-1 through 6-35, entitled "An Ordinance Requiring Permits far Buildings, Structures, and Clses, Dividing the Village into Districts, Specifying Minimum Lot Sizes, Set Backs and Side Yards, Rer~ulating the Bulk of Buildings, Providing fox Appeals and Imposing Penalties", be granted; and WH~:REAS, we believe that the highest and best use of the real estate hereinafter described is for uses permitted in a Residence A-4 District under said Chapter 8, Article 6, Sections 6-~1 through 6-35; and WHEREAS, no written objections to the rezoning of said premises were filed and no ane appeared in per~~on to o`..~jc:ct to the rezoning of said real estate; and WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the President and Soard of Trustees of the Village of Plainfield that the petition for the. rezoning of the real estate hereinafter described should be granted and that said real estate should be rezoned and reclass:~fied frvrn Residence A District to Residences A-4 District under said Zoning Ordinance. BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF PL.AINFIELD, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLO°~'S Section 7--49-1: Territor Described. °I°hat the following tract of land, to-wit: .• ~• .. The East 150 feet measured along the North line of Lot 18, in Fairbanks Addition to Plainfield, in the Village of Plainfield, according to the Plat recorded December 20, 1856, in Baok 47, Page 247, as Document No. 25675 in Will County, Illinois. I ~~ Commonly known as: 400 James Street, Plainfield, Illinois which said tract of land is now a part of a Residence A District as defined in Section 6-2 of said Chapter 8, Article 6 (Ordinance X674) of the village of Plainfield of which this Ordinance is amendatory, be and the same is hereby detached from said Residence A District in which the same is new classified and is hereby re- classified and rezaned as Residence A-4 District under said Chapter 8, Article 6, Section 6-2 (Ordinance X674) and is hereby added to and made a part of Residence A-4 District under said Chapter 8, Article 6, Section 6-2. Section 7-49-2: If Part Invalid. The invalidity of any part or section hereof shall not effect the validity of the remainder hereof. • Section 7-49-3: This Ordinance, numbered as ~-~'7~, shall be in full farce and effect after its passage and apparoval.
