AN ORDINANCE amending Ordinance No, 741. 923, with its subsequent
amendments, commonlIF known as the Zoning Ordinance, approved April
240 1923, providing for the publication thereof and fixing the time
when the same shall take effect,
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond'
Indiana;
SECTION 1-- WHEREAS, Ordinance,No,741-1923, commonly known as the
Boning rdinance and the Zone .Map made 'a part thereof, designates
and describes, as"Dwel.ling House District" , the following described
territory in said City of Richmond, Wayne..County, State of Indiana,
to -•wit s
Being bounded as follows; on the north by West Main Street;
on the east by Southwest Fifth Street; on the south by the first
Alley south of and parallel, with the south line of West Main Street;
on the west by a line Ninety Five (95,00) Veet west of and parallel
with the west line of Southwest Fifth Street, and
WHEREAS, it is the purpose and. intention hereof to change the
use of said territory to 'Business Districtt°,
NOW THEREFORE
SECTION 2-- It is hereby ordained,that the use district in the
Zoning Ordinance and on the Zone Map be, and the same is hereby
changed covering the above described territory to ."Business District"
and that the said territory and the use and.area thereof be regulated
accordingly.
SECTION 3-- This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approval by the Mayor and publication as by
law required,
