AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE APPROPRIATION OF 41500.00 FROM THE
CITY OF RICHMOND, GENERAL FUND, TO A FUND UNDER THE BOARD OF WORKS
ACCOUNT KNOV'ffl AS #66B FOR THE PURCHASE OF CERTAIN REAL ESTATE.
VdHEREAS, it is to the best interest of the City of Richmond,
to expand its real estate holdings to the north of the City
Garage; and whereas the real estate known,as the Bar�lkowpki Real
Estate, immediately to the north of the present City Garage, is
now available for purchase at a reasonable price,
NOW THEREFORE:
Section 1. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE. CITY
OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, that there be and there hereby is approp-
riated from the General Fund of the City of Richmond, Indiana, the
sum of $1500.00', the same to be placed in an account under Board
of Works to be known as 1166B Real Estate Purchase Fund"
Section 2. Be it further ordained that said money be used
for the purchase of what is known as the Ba4ov�ki property, more
specifically described as follows, to -wit: a part of Lot No, 3
of Christian Schwegmants Out -Lots, as laid out in the City of''
Richmond, Wayne County, Indiana, and being more particularly des-
cribed as follows: being forty seven'•(.47) feet in width, north
and south, off the entire south side of a strip of real estate
off the north ,side of Lot No. 3 of Christian Schwegman's Out -lots,
fifty eight and ninety six hundredths (58,96) feet fronting on
6th Street and fronting fifty eight and sixty one hundredths
v(�5q'61) feet on Garden Avenue; excepting therefrom that portion
df� aid described tract lying east of a line parallel with and a
-k1ptance of one -hundred thirty six (136) feet, measured west-
rdly at right angles, from the west line of So. 6th St,
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
upon and after its passage, signature of the President of the
said Common Council so affixed, submission to and approval of
the Mayor of said City.
Advertised as provided by law and submission and approval
by the State Board of Tax Commissioners.
