HomeMy Public PortalAbout1287-1945 - Appriopriating $8,500.00 from City General Fund to Police Radio Statioij Replace Equipment Fumdt7 4 ordinance No. j----1945 LA t� AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUMIOF EIGHTY FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS FROM THE CITY OF RICHMOND GENERAL FUND UNAPPROPRIATED TO A NEW FUND TO,BE KNOWN AS POLICE RADIO STATION REPLACEMENT E(LTTPPMENT FUND NO. 130A, DECLARING AN EXTRAORDINARY EMERGENCY THEREFORE AND PROVIDING FOR THE TAKING EFFECT THEREOF. WHEREAS, almost all of the radio and office equippment located in the Radio Station of the City of Richmond was destroyed by fire amd WHEREAS, it is neceTeary to immediately replace said equippment for the proper functioning of said radio station NOW THEREFORE Section 1. Be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana that there be and there hereby is appropriated from the General Fund Unappropriated of said City the sum of Eighty five hundred Dollars and that the same be placed in a new fund.to be designated as Police Radio Station Replacement Equippment Fund No. 130A. Section 2. Ba it further ordained that an extraordinary emergency exists for the passage hereof. Section ;® This ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon and after the passage hereof, the signature of the President of said Common Council properly affixed, submission to and. approval of the Mayor of said City, publication thereof as by law required, approval of.the State Board of Tam Commissioners -as by law required.
