AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA,
CERTAIN TERRITORY NOT CONTIGUOUS TO SAID CITY, KNOWN AS THE RICHMOND .
MUNICIPAL AIRPORT, PROVIDING FOR THE TAKING EFFECT THEREOF AND FIXING THE TIME
WHEN THE SAME SHALL TAKE EFFECT .
- Section 1. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL of the City of
Richmond, Mayne County, Indiana, that the following described real estate
be and .the same is hereby annaxed and declared.to be a part of the said
City of Richmond: to -writ:
Being the north half of Section 35, Township 13, North, Range 1 West,
also the south half of Section 26, Township 13 North, Range 1 West and also
a part of the northwest_quarter of- Section 26, Township 13 North, Range 1
West, more particularity described as follows: Beginning -at the southwest
corner of the said Northwest quarter of Section 2, Township 13 North, Range,-
1�-West, thence north along the•vest line of saift Section 26 eleven and
sixty three hundredths (11.63) rode to the center of a County Road; thence
east parallel with the south line of the northwest quarter of said Section
26 one -hundred forty one and sixty, three hundredths (141.63) rode.; thence
south parallel with the.west'line of the northwest quarter of said Section 26
eleven ana,sixty three hundredths (11.63) rods to a point in the south line .%
of the northwest quarter of said Section 26; said point(_1Vift-6t-een -(19)-- rods
measured westwardly from the south ea7st• corner of the northwest quarter of
Section 26; thence west on the south line of the northwest quarter of said
Section 26 to the place of beginning. The same being known a, the: Richmond
Municipal Airport.
Section 2. Be it'further ordained that this proceedings be in compliance
and conformity with Senate Bill No. 114-as Passed by the General Assembly of
the State of Indiana in it's regular session in the year 1945
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon and
after it's passage, properly executed by the President of Common Council,
submission to and approval of the -Mayor, _-pz-- and publication as by law
required. _
