AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA IN FAVOR OF THE IM-
PROVEMENT, OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE AND ACQUISITION OF THE
RICHMOND MUNICIPAL AIRPORT AND DECLARING A NECESSITY FOR THE SAME,
PROVIDING FOR THE TARING EFFECT THEREOF.
Section La Be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of
Richmond, INDIANA, that the Common Council of said City does hereby favor the
acquisition, improvement, operation amd maintebance of an air -port for
the City of Richmond, Indiana, and does hereby declare that a necessity
exists for the same, under and pursuant to the provisions of Senate Hill
No. 114 passed by the 84th General ,Assembly of the State of Indiana entitled
A Bill for An Act authorizing municipalities to acquire, establish, con-
struct, improve, equip, maintain and operate airports and landing fields and
establihs a department of aviation in such municipality, defining its pourers
and duties; confering certain powers upon the Govepning authority of said
municipality in relation to said aviation department, repealing conflicting
laws and declaring an emergency.0 ,
Section 20 This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval by the Mayor,of said City.
