AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE RATE AND THE AMOUNT OF TAXES FOR MUNICIPAL, PURPOSES TO BE LEVIED ON PROPERTY AND POLLS WITHIN THE CITY OF RICHMOND INDIANA FOR THE YEAR 1945%AND COLLECTED IN 1946 AND PROVIDING FOR THE TAKING EFFECT THEREOF. Section 1. Be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, that the amount of taxes to be levied on property and polls within the City of Richmond, Indiana for the year 1945 to be collected in 1946 shall be $233,730.51 , and that the rate of such tax and the purposes thereof shall be as follows; A. For the General Fund of said City the levy shall be 31 on'each one hundred dollars assessed valuation and there shall be placed in said. General Fund from money raised by Poll Tax the sum of $1191.00. B. For the General Sinking Fund of said City for the purpose of paying interest and principal on bonded indebtedness etc. of said City on each one hundred dollars assessed valuation there shall be levied .145. C. For the Police Pension Fund of said City on each one hundred dollars assessed valuation there shall be levied .02 D. For the Firemans Pension Fund of said City on each one hundred dollars assessed,valuation there shall be levied .02 E. For the City Planning Commission of said City on each one hundred dollars assessed valuation thBre shall be levied .005 . F. For :the Municipal Airport Operating Fund of said City on each one hundred dollars assessed valuation there shall be levied .08 . G. And there shall also be assessed and collected on each taxable poll within said City of Richmond, Indiana, the sum of 25¢, making a total tax rate on property within the City of Richmond, Wayne County, Indiana, the sum of 58 on each one hundred dollars assessed valuation. Section 2. Said taxes shall be collected and paid an allocated as provided by an Act of the General Assembly of the State of Indiana, entitled, "AN ACT GOVERNING MUNICIPAL CORPORATIONS", approved March 6th, 1905, and subsequent parts thereof amendatory and/or supplemental thereto or thereof. Section 3.
