AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERING THE CONTROL OF THE MUNICIPAL EL'.CTRIC
LIGHTING AND POWER PLANT OF THE CITY OF RICRIVOND,INDIANA FROM
THE COMMON COUNCIL OF SAID CITY TO THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND
SAFETY ,OF SAID CITY AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 1085-1935.
SECTION 1. Be it ordained by the Common Council of the City
of Richmond, Indiana that the operation, management and control of
the Municipal Electric Lighting and Power Plant of the City of
Richmond, Indiana be and the same hereby is vested in the Boatd
of Public Works and Safety of said City as and of the date of the
passage of this ordinance.
SECTION 2. Be it further ordained that Ordinance No. 10£55-1935
passed by the Common Council on February 9th, 1935, Ordinance
Record F Page 477 be and the same is hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
upon and -after its passage by Common Council submission to and
approval by the Mayor.
