AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE TRANSFER FROM THE GENERAL FUND OF THE W-UNICIPAL
ELECTRIC LIGHTING AND POWER PLANT TO VARIOUS FUNDS OF SAID CITY THE SUM OF
-$300,000.00 IN INSTALLMENTS UPON CALL BY THE CITY CONTROLLER BETWEEN JANUARY
let, 194.5 AND JANUARY 1st, 1946 AND PROVIDING FOR THE TAKING EFFECT THEREOF.
Section 1. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMM-ON COUNCIL of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, as follows, to -wit: That the sum of Three hundred thousanff dollars
be and the same is hereby ordered, transferred from the General Fund oft the
Municipal Electric Lighting and Power Plant to the City of Richmond, Indiana
for the purpose of defraying its governmental expense and that said sum be
available on call by the Controller of the City of Richmond to the said
Municipal Electric ,L` ghting ad Pow' er' Plant on and after the lst duty of
January, 1a45 and up to the, 1st day of January, 1946.
Section 2. The Clerk of the ssJ.6 Q_ity, shall'givo notice, as required
by law of the pendency of this ordinance and the purposes thereof by posting
written notices thereof in at least three ]"Vblic places within the City
Limits of the City of Richmond, stating the time, place and date then
And where said Common Council will, and consier the :tar, same, and that
the Clerk shall make proper proof of the posting thereof ams submit the same to
Council before final passage of said ordinance
Section 3- Be it further ordained that the proper officers of said
City are hereby authorized, empowered and directed' to make and effect ta.id
transfer of acid funds' as authoriz'ed and designated in Section- 1 hereof.
Section 4. This ordinance ah&ll be in full force and effect from and
after its passage, after due notice if provided, Approval of the Mayor.
