ORDINANCE NO. D - 1944-
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF THE SUM OF $279000.00 FROM THE
MUNICIPAL ELECTRIC LIGHT AND POWER PLANT GENERAL FUND TO THE CIVIL CITY
OF RICHMOND GENERal sinking fund,PROVIDING FURTHER FOR THE RETURN OF
THE SAME BY SAID CIVIL CITY TO THE MUNICIPAL ELECTRIC LIGHTING AND
POWER DEPRECIATION RESERVE FUND, PROVIDING FURTHER FOR THE TAKING EFFECT
THEREOF.
Section 1. Be it ordained by the Common Council of the .City of
Richmond, Indiana that there be and there hereby is transfered from
the Municipal Electrick Lighting and Pourer Plant General'Fund to the
General Sinking Fund of the City of Richmond, Indiana, the sum of
$27,000.00 and that after said transfer has been completed that said
sum of $27,000).00 be then transfered from said General Sinking Fund of
said City to the Municipal Electric Lighting and Power Plant Dep-
reciation Reserve Fund.
The purpose of said transfer being to make possible the payment
of balance due from said Civil City to said Light.Plant_-;as a result of
an unsecured loan from said Plant to said City, not bearing interest,
in the year 1936.-
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect on
and after its passage, signature by the President of said Common Council,
submission to and approval of the Mayor of said City and notice posted
as required by law.
