I�IiLtES: here is an emergency need for the transfer of certain
funds from the General Fund of the City of Richmond and from the
Special Street Fund of the City of Eichmond in order to meet in -
in
creased expenditures tbm the Department of HedAth and Sanitation
from pay -roll increases made necessary by the rise in the cost of
living , the same applying to the payroll demands of the Sewage
Disposal Plant and the payroll demands of the Sheet Department

Section 1. Be it ordained by 'ihe Common Council of the City of
Fichmond, Indiana, that there be and 'there hereby is appropriated
out of the General Fund of the City of Richmond, the sum of j4900.00
the same to be credited to and placed in Payroll Account No. 182 of
the Department of Health and Sanitation.

2. Be it
further
ordained by the Common
Council
of
the
City of
iichmond,
Indiana,
that therebe and there
hereby
is
ap-
propriated from the General Fund of the City of Richmond, the sum
of ;';600.00 the same to be credited to and placed in Disposal Plant
Payroll Account No. 131.
Sea Lion 3. Be it further ordained by the Common Council of the
City of Richmond, Indiana, that there be and there hereby is
appropriated from the Special Street Fund,of said City, the sum of
,23200.00 the same to be credited to and placed in Payroll Account
S-3 of the ;street Department. Fund.
Section 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approval by the i,Iayor, publication as by law
required and
the approval of the State Tax Board of Tax Commissioners.
