AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERING THE BUM OF $500.00 FROM THE CONTINGENCY FUND
UNDER THE) COMMON COUNCIL #33 TO THE RICHMOND CIVILIAN DEFENSE
COUNCIL, PROVIDING THE AUTHORITY TO GOVERN THE EXPENDITURE THEREOF,
AND DECLARING. AN EXTRA.ORDINA.RY EMERGENCY THEREOF0 ?-E
WHEREAS, there is an extraordinary emergency for the creation
of a war -time fund to be used in the expe.ndi,ture of the various heeds
of the Richmond Civilian Defense Council for the welfare and. pro-
tection of the citizens of the City of Richmond, Indiana;
NOW THEREFORE
Section 1. Be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of
Richmond, Indiana that there be and there hereby is appropraited and,
transf.ered from the Contingency Fund No. 33 under the Common Council
the sum of $500.00 to a fund to be known anxtrkvxbzgkv as the Richmond-
Civiliam Defence Council Fund .
Section 2. Be it further ordained by the Common Council of the City
of Richmond, Indiana that the siad Richmond Civilian Defense Council
Fund be under the control of the Mayor of said City to be expended at
his direction and by his authority.
Section 3. Be it further ordained that an extraordinary emergency
exists for the immediate creation of said fund by said transfer.
Section 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approaml by the Mayor. y
