AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OP TIO THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED FOUR DOLLARS AXD
EIGHT CEZTS FROM THE GENERAL FUND OF THE CITY OF- RICHMOND - FOR THE
PURPOSE OF DEFRAYING THE EXPENSES OF THE GENERAL ELECTION HELD NOV.
3d, 1942 IN THE CITY OF RICHMOND,PROVIDING FOR THE TAKING EFFECT OF
SAID ORDINANCE AND DECLARING AN EXTRAORDINARY EMERGENCY THEREFORE.
Section 1. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RICHMOND, INDIANA, that there be and. there hereby is appropraited
.,from the General Fund of the City of Richmond, Indiana the sure of
$216 .09 to be expended for the purpose of ,defraying the City of
Richmohai s share of the expenses of the General Election held Nov.
3, 1942 in Mayne County and Richmond, Indiana pursuant to a bill
therefore rendered by the Auditor of Wayne County, Indiana..
Section 2. Be it further ordained that inasmuch as said. bill must
be Paid.on or before December 31st, 1942 that an extraordinary emergency
for said. appropriation exists.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect after
it's passage by 'said Common Council, signature of the President of said
Common Council thereto, approval of the Mayor after submi,ssi.ori,thereof,
publication as by law required and: the approval of the State Tax Board
of Tax Commissioners.
