AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE RATE AND Ka AMOUNT OF TAXES FOR MUNICIPAL PURPOSES
TO BE LEVIED ON PROPERTY AVE POLLS WITHIN THE CITY OF RICHMONDyINDIAfA,FOR
THE YEAR lQ41, AND COLLECTED IN THE YEAR 1942.
SECTION 1. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND,
I DIANA, THAT THE A OU1 T OF TABS TO -BE LEVIED ON PROPERTY AND POLLS
TITHIN THE CITY OF RICHMOND,INDIANA FOR 1941 and collected in 1942,
SHALL BE" ONE HUNDRED EIGHTEEN THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED SEVENTY TWO DOLLARS
AND FINTY TWO CENTS ($11 S, 472. 92) A I THE RATE OF SUCH TAX AND TH Z PURPOSES
THEREOF SHALL BE Al FOLLOWS:
(A) For the GENERAL FUND of said City on each one hundred dollars assessed
valuation fourteen cents amd three mills 1 .143 )
tB) For the STHKING FUND of said City for'the payment of interest and
urincipyl on bonded indebtedness, etc. of said City on each One Hundred
dollars assessed valuation thirteen cents and Seven mills. ( $ .137 )
�C) For the FIREMEN'S PENSION FUND of said City on each one hundred,`.
dollars assessed valuation, two cents ( $ .02).
(D) For the POLICEMENIS PENSION FUND of said City on each one hundred
dollars assessed valuation, two cents ($ .02)
(E) FOR THE CITY PLANING COMMISSION FUND of said City on each one
hundreK dollars assessed valuation , five mills ($ .005).
(F) For0the SCHOOL RECREATION FUND of said City for the maintenance and
ecuippment of public playgrounds under the supervision of said City
and or Board of trustees of the School City of Richmond, Indiana, on
each one hundred dollard assessed valuation , five mills ($ .005)
(G) And there shall also assessed and collected on each taxable poll.
within said City of Richmond, Indiana, the sum of Twenty-five cents (.25)
making a total rat-evon-property within and for the City of Richmond,
Wayne County, Indiana, the sum of THIRTY-THREE CENTS (33) on each one
hundred dollars assessed valuation.
SECTION 2. Said taxis shall be collected and paid as provided by an Act
of the General Assembly of the STate of Indiana, entitled " AN ACT CONCERN
ING yUNICIPAL CORPORATIONS" ap=proved March 6th, 1905, and all parts
thereof amendatory or supplemental thereto.
SECTIOIa j. This ordinance shall be in full force and ef-fect from and
after its passage by Council, submission to and approval by the Mayor.
