SECTION 1, BE IT ORDAINED BY TIE COMION COUNOTL OF THE
CITY OF RICTMOM,, aTDIAMM, that the sum of Six Thousand Four
Hundred Fifty Eight and 36/100 Dollars, (-4')6458,.Z6) be, and.
same is hereby ordered transferred-from.the Garbage Disposal
Account of the City of Richmond, Indiaria,, 'to the Purchase .of
Equipment Account of the Street Department of the City of Rich-
mond,, Indiana,
For the purpose of this ordinance.' it is 'here-
by declared that 'the sumof�6458.36 will not be necessary for
carrying on the'.' 'arbage disposal. contract subsequent to "Tarch. 1
1940, and that there will be no actual need or necessity -for
said sum for' said purpose but that there is an, actual need and
necessity for said sum of �,'.6458.36,for the use of the Purchase
of Equipment Account -.in the Street Department of said City in
order 'that it may carry on its necessary governmental fun6 ns,
and that an emergency exists at this time for the transfer of
say dfunds and the use thereof in said Street Department Acdountd
The City Clerk of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
shall, upon the introduction' of'!'this ordinance, -and before the
final y
L Passage thereof, give ten days notice of the pendency of
this ordinance and the purpose thereof.. by posting written or
printed notices thereof- in at -"Least--'U'Liree;-public�-places in= said
City of Richmond,, stating the tirae, and place when and where said
Comm Council will, meet to consider the same, and that said Clerk,
shall make proper proof of the posting thereof, and submit the
same to Common Council- before the final passage of this ordinance.
SECTION w. The proper officers of the City of Rich-
mond, Indiana, are hereby authorized, empowered and directed
to make and effect the transfer of said moneys as authorized
and directed in Section, 1 of this ordinance.
SECTIONS 3. This ordinance
shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage,
after due notice as herein specified, and after approval of the
Mayor,
