I have your letter of June 8, 1959 in which you request information regarding the water service to Parcel A of a resubdivision of portions of Lots 1 and 2, Haywood Highlands, San Mateo, California The Town of Hillsborough has a 4" water main in Parrott Drive from which service to Parcel A could be obtained. There will, however, be a charge of $150.00 to provide construction of future water storage facilities which will serve this newly subdivided lot. This $150.00 charge will be due and payable upon application for water service. The service and meter for this residence would be installed free of charge upon application. This meter could be installed at practically any location desired by the owner. I am forwarding a copy of this letter to Mr. John Gard, City of San Mateo Engineer's office, for his information.
