Gentlemen:
At the regular meeting of the San Mateo City Planning
Commission held August 11th, 1938, a map o: the proposed sub-
division of Lots 1G and 17, Block 23, East San Mateo, located
at the southwest corner of 9th Avenue and the Bayshore Highway,
was presented by M"r. Louis tengfeld.
After due considerations, it was the reooumtendation
of the Commission that said map be approved.

- Description -
All that certain real property situated in the City of San Mateo,
County of San Mateo, State of California, described as follows;
Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 18, 19, 20 in Block 16, a portion of the "Plaza"
as described in Parcel 1, in a quit claim deed by the City of San
Mateo, recorded on May 4, 1959 in Book 3593 of Official Records of
San Mateo County at page 584 (45286R), a portion of Plaza Avenue
as described in "Resolution ordering the Abandonment of portions of
Plaza Avenue, Map of East San Mateo," Resolution No. 58-10, recorded
on May 4, 1959 in Book 3593 of Official Records of San Mateo County
at page 581 (45285R), together with a portion of the 6 foot Service
Jay as abandoned by the City of San Mateo pursuant to Resolution of
Abandonment No. 57 - 5, as said lots, block, service way, Plaza and
Avenue are shown on that certain map entitled, "Map of East San
Mateo, being a resubdivision of a portion of the lands of Emma Rose,
San Mateo County, California," which map was filed on January 15,
1908 in Map Book 5 at page 55, San Mateo County records, more
particularly described as follows;
BEGINAIRG at the most northerly corner of Lot 1 in Block 16, as
said lot and block are shown on the above mentioned map of Bast San
Mateo; running thence from said point of begInningalong the north-
easterly line of said lots 1 and 4, South 41 28' East 182.80 feet;
thence leaving Raid easterly line South 480 32' dest 100.90 feet;
thence South 41 28' East 52.20 feet; thence South 48 32 West
100.00 feet to the northeasterly line of Railroad Avenue, as said
Avenue is shown on the above mentioned Tap of East San Mateo; thence
along said northeasterly line North 41 28' crest 273.55 feet;
thence along a cure to the right with a radius of 135.60 feet, a
central angle of 9 28' 17", an arc distance of 22.41 feet; thence
along a curve to the left with a radius of 205.60 feet, a central
angle of 30 40', an arc distance of 110.04 feet to the most
westerly corner of Lot 3 in Block 16, as shown on the above mentioned
map of East San Mateo; thence northeasterly along the northwesterly
lines of Lots 3,2 and 1 in Block 16, East San Mateo, North 48'321
.East 75.00 feet to the point of beginning.
