+MHEREAS, the Common Council of th City of Richmond, Indiana
by resolution adopted on `ZO _day of _ 1939t, created the
public body, corporate and politic to be known as The Housing
Authority of the City of Richmond, Indiana, in compliance with and
as provided for the laws of the State of Indiana in chapter 207' of
the Acts of the General Assembly of the State of . Indiana for 19370
M
IMLRE'AS, the members of said Housing Authority have been duly
appointed and qualified and are in performing the -duties incumbant
upon them as said Housing Authority and will continue to do so in
the promotion of said Housing Project, which necessitates and has
necessitated considerable expense in providing for administrative
and overhead expenses and
`�7HEREAS, said Dousing Authority of the Oity of Richmond has
made an estimate of the amount of money necessary for.administrative
expenses and overhead of such Housing Authority for and during its
first. year of existence and has estimated the same 'to be Two
Thousand Dollars (�2,000) and has requested -the appropriation of the
sum of Two `thousand Dollars ($2,0.00) for its use.
NOW THEREFORE,
Section 1. That it is hereby ordained by the Common Council of
the City of Richmond that -there byt and there now is, appropriated
out of the money unappropriated in the General Fund of said Oity of
Richmond, Indiana the sum of Two Thousand Dollars (�2,000) for the
use of said Housing Authority of the City of Richmond in paying its
administration and overhead expenses for the first year of its
existence.
