ORDINANCE, NO. 1938.-
An ordinance appropriating the sum of $11200.00 out of
the General Fund of the City of Richmond, Indiana, for
salary in the maintenance of Police Radio of said City
which sum has been paid into the. said -General- Fund,- by
Wayne County, Indiana, and declaring an emergency for
said appropriation.
WHEREAS, Wayne County, Indiana, has heretofore paid to
the General Fund of the City of Richmond, Indiana, the
sum of $1,200.00 for the payment of one operator in the
maintenance of the Po lice Radio broadcasting station,
and 'Whereas'. the. said City of Richmond, Indiana', js
obligated for the p'aymeri.t of said operator and *no
appropriation having been made in the annual budget of
..said City for payment thereof, and 'emergency has arisen
' for the appropriation of -the additional sum of �1,200.00,
which has been paid into the General Fund of said .City
b" of Richmond, Indiana,'by the County of :Mayne, Indiana;
for payment. 'of said operator, Now Therefore:
Section. 1. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMAON COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, that the
additional sum of $1,200.00 be and the
same is hereby appropriated as an emergency
appropriation of the General Fund of said
City, -to the account ' of Salaries of Radio`
Operators, which money has been paid.into
the City's-General Fund by said Wayne County
Indiana.
Section. 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and
approval of the Mayor of said City of
Richmond, Indiana.
