AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF SEVENTEEN HUNDRED
FIFTY DOLLARS 01, 750.00) DOLLARS, OUT OF THE GENERAL
FUND OF THE CITY OF RICH OND, INDIANA, TO PAY THE
J UDGEr•IENT AND COURT COSTS IN THE MATTER OF. DAMAGES
RENDERED ETYMA LANDIS AGAINST TYKE CITY OF RICHMOND,
INDIANA. . .
Section 1. BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of
the City of Richmond, Indiana, that the
sum of Seventeen Hundred Fifty ( 1,750.00 ) ,
be and the same is hereby appropriated
out of the General Fund of the City of
Richmond, Indiana , for the purpose of
paying off a judgement and costs against
the said City in favor of Emma Landis,
for damages, rendered December 19,1936
by the 'Payne Circuit Court of Wayne
County, Indiana.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage,
the approval of the Mayor, due publication
as required by law, and the approval of
the State Board of Tax Commissioners.
Passed by the Common Council of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, this ,Va day of January, 1937.
