ORDINANCE NO. 2 ,_. , 1937 .
AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION ONE OF RULE 'II OF AN ORDINANCE
PRESCRIRTNG RULES FOR THE COVERT„^ TT OF THE COY ON COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND. ITS OFFICERS AND COrCrTTE+'S, AND
OFFICERS CONNECTED WITH THE CITY GOVERMENT.MENT. AND OTHER MATTERS
PERTAINING THERETO: PASSED BY THE COJ'.51TON COUNCIL JUNK 4, 1906,.
Section i. BE IT ORT)AII'IED by the Common Council of the
City of Richmond, Indiana, that Section One (1)
of Rule II be amended to read as follows :
ORDTN LNC 'S
Ordininances shall be of three distinct classes
viz: First, appropriation ordinances; second,
special ordinances relating to special matters ;
third, general ordinances, relating 'to the
goverment of the City. The Clerk shall keep
each class of ordinances in distinct files,
according to the number of their readings,
and shall give each .ordinance of each class
a distinct 'number in the order of its intorduction,
and shall place such files on the Clerks desk
at the ooenin of each meeting. However no
ordinance shall be presented to Council unless
said ordinate has been placed in the hands of
the city Clerk not later than 11 :30 A.M. on
the day of said Council meeting.
Section 2. ?.1l parts of Section One (I) Rule II except
specifically amended shall be and remain in
effect as originally passed and approved.
Section 3. ' This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, and tha pprovel of
the Mayor.
