An Ordinance authorizing the Wayne Works, an Indiana
corporation, or its assigns, to construct, .maintain, and use a ,
railroad side -track in, along, and over a part of. North "F"
Street and North Seventeenth Street, in the City of Richmond,
Indiana.
Section 1. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL. OF
THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, That -the theV Wayne Works, an Indiana•
corporation, having its principal place of business in the city V .
of Richmond, Indiana, is hereby authorized to construct, main- V
taro, and use a railroad side track and switch in, along, and
over North "F" Street and North Seventeenth Street, in said
city of Richmond, in accordance: with the terms and provisions.
of a written contract heretofore made by and between said City,
by its Board of Public. Works and Safety, and said Wayne Works,
under date of March 26," 1937. Said contract, so made, is approved
and confirmed:, the same being in words: and figures, as follows :
CONTRACT

THIS CONTRACT Made by and between- the City of
Richmond, Indiana, hereinafter designated as V
City, and the Wayne Works, an Indiana corpora-
tion, hereinafter designated as Grantee, V
WITNESSETH;
Said City hereby grants to said Grantee and
its assigns the right to build, maintain, and
use a railroad switch, with a branch therefrom,
for industrial purposes, in, along, and over
North "F"V Street and North Seventeenth Street
in said City, as follows: V
The center line ot the main side track to be .
constructed and used shall commence at a point
in the south line of North "F" Street approxi-
mately Two Hundred Fifty-five (255) Feet east
of the .east line of North Sixteenth Street;
thence" by: a curve- to the left, a distance of
approximately ..One Hundred Sixty (160) . Feet,
to a point in the center line of North.
Seventeenth Street; thence north along the
center line of North Seventeenth Street ap-
proximately Two Hundred Forty 1240).' Feet to
the north line of. North ."G" Street.
The location of the ,private side track
branching• therefrom is to be, as follows:
Beginning at a switch point in said main
side track approximately One Hundred Thirty
(130) Feet north of the -center line of said
North '.?F" Street; thence northWestwardly. '
along North Seventeenth Street a distance
