AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE ADDITIONAL .SUM OF EIGHTEEN
THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED NINETY NINE DOLLARS AND TWENTY FIVE CENTS,
($18,999.25) , OUT OF THE GENERAL FUND OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND,
INDIANA, TO THE ACCOUNTS HERINAFT t NAi ED, AND DECLARING AN
EXTRAORDINARY -EMERGENCYXISTING FOR. THE SAME.
WHEREAS,The almount of the funds provided by the Annual Budget
of the City of Richmond, Indiana, to the different departments,
and accounts as hereinafter stated are inadequate, and
WHEREAS, The continuation of W.P.A. necessitates the furnishing
of materials for this work, and by reason thereof an extraordinary
emergency has arisen for the appropriation of the additional sure
of of Eighteen Thousand Nine Hundred Ninety Nine Dollars and
Twenty Five Cents (e18,999.25) , as requested, Now Therefore,
Section 1. BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of
Richmond, Indiana, that the following sums of
money be, and the same is hereby appropriated out
of the General Fund of said City to the various
accounts as hereinafter stated :

Section 2.. ' The appropriation of the above named sums of
money is hereby declared an extraordinary
emergency which has arisen in the operation of
.the said departments since the adoption of the
Annual Budget.. of the expense : for the year 1937.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and the approval of
the Mayor, and the State 3oard of Tax Commissioners,
and due publication as required by law.
