SALARY ORDINANCE FOR YEAR 1938.
ORDINANCE NO. /A 07 -1937 .
AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE SALARIES OF OFFICERS AND CERTAIN EMPLOYEES
OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR, BEGINNING
JANUARY 1st , 1938 AND ENDING DECEMBER 31st, 1938, AND APPROVING
THE INCREASES GRANTED J ANUARY 1st , 1937 .
Section 1. BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of
Richmond , Indiana, that the annual salaries of
certain officers and employees of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, for the fiscal year beginning January 1st ,
1938 and ending December 31st, 1938, shall be and the
same are hereby stated and fixed as follows :
Building Inspector 41,800.00 per year
Street Commissioner 2,100.00 " "
Insp. Weights & Measures 1,500.00 " "
Dairy Inspector 1,400.00 " "
Meat Inspector 1,500.00 " "
Chief of Fire Department 2 ,400.00 " 14
Assistant Chiefs 165.00 per month

Section 2. Said salaries shall be paid pro-rata on the first and
fifteenth day of each month to their tespective
officers and employees of said City out of the
appropriations made therefore.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and the approval of the Mayor.
Passed by the Common Council of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, on theca4 day of December, 1937.
