ORDINANCE NO. 24-2021
A SPECIAL ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING
MAP FOR CERTAIN PARCELS FROM URBAN
RESIDENTIAL (UR) DISTRICT TO GENERAL
COMMERICIAL (GC) DISTRICT
WHEREAS, The Zoning Map designates certain properties, commonly known as 527 West
National Road, 531 West National Road, 535 West National Road, and 215 College
Avenue (State Parcel ID: 89-18-06-220-801.000-030; 89-18-06-220-802.000-030;
89-18-06-220-803.000-030; and 89-18-06-220-804.000-030), each legally described
as follows, to wit:
527 West National Road: EARLHAM PLACE & 12 FT X 177.64 FT 38 FT E
SIDE LOT 1 H M EXC N PT
531 West National Road: 18 FT W SIDE LOT 1 H M 32 FT E SIDE LOT 2 H
M EXC N PT
535 West National Road: 24 FT W SIDE LOT 2 H M LOT 3 H M EXC N PT
215 College Avenue: EARLHAM PLACE LOT 4 H M
as Urban Residential (UR) District, as described on Exhibit A; and
WHEREAS, It is desirable to change the zoning designations to a General Commercial (GC)
District in order to construct a new commercial building.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, that the zoning designation for the above -described properties are all changed to General
Commercial (GC) District.
