Committee members present were Carol Appleton, Steven Bergquist, Jim Trabulsie ( Chairman ), Tom Turcketta, George Carey (Alternate ), and Sara Provos ( Senior Department Assistant , Patricia Busch was absent . SON ftp �6- T RE Q S H40-20445 Dean and Marion Sarrasin, 383 Harwich Road, Map 55 Lot 126 Roof Mounted Solar Panels ■ Diane Addison of My Generation Energy and the homeowner Dean Sarrasin were present at the meeting . ■ Carol Appleton stated that she reviewed the October 22, 2020 meeting online . ■ Applicant is presenting to include solar panels on the South facing garage . ■ Tom Turcketta moved to accept as proposed . Carol Appleton seconded . ■ Vote 3 - 2 -0 H-10- 20463 Aime Bessette, 116 Old Valley Road, Map 101 Lot 16 Garage ■ This application was withdrawn per the request of the homeowner. i I D40- 20464 1 Ronald and Eileen Nardone, 4 Depot Street, Map 65 Lot 22 I i Demolish Barn ■ Jamie McGrath of Pine Harbor Woodworking represented the homeowner . ■ Carol Appleton abstained from this application . ■ A site review of the property was done in October. ■ Tom Turcketta moved to approve demolition of the barn . George Carey seconded . ■ Vote 4- 04 I I l i I i 1 a 1 i i (1 i Brewster Historic District Committee / Minutes of November 5, 2020 Meeting H - 11-20468 Harry Oxford Jr and Marjorie Rollinson, 21 Pilgrim Pines Lane, Map 68 Lot 78 Garage ■ Russell Bassett of RB and Sons Contractor, LLC attended on behalf of the homeowners . ■ Chairman Trabulsie read into record the specification sheet . ■ Garage will have a pitch of 8/ 12 . ■ Windows will not have grills . ■ Windows will have sills . ■ After considerable discussion and review Carol Appleton moved to approve contingent on the following being provided to the Building Department; o Cut sheet on garage door o Updated left elevation to show awning windows removed o Roof Pitch ■ Tom Turcketta seconded . ■ All voted in favor. H41-20470 Ronald and Eileen Nardone, 4 Depot Street, Map 65 Lot 22 Garage ■ Jamie McGrath of Pine Harbor Woodworking represented the homeowner . ■ Carol Appleton abstained from this application . ■ Mr. McGrath reviewed the plans to build a two car garage with living space above . ■ Chairman Trabulsie read into record the specification sheet . ■ Chairman Trabulsie noted a correction of a 1 foot overhang rather than 1" as depicted on the specification sheet . ■ All Doors will be painted Benjamin Moore Essex Green ; a color swatch will be provided to the Building Department . ■ Balcony will have white composite balusters . ■ George Carey moved to accept as amended . Tom Turcketta seconded . ■ Vote 4-0 - 1 H- 11-20471 I Sweet Journey LLC, 0 Satucket Road, Map 35 Lot 51 Greenhouse I ■ Joe Biernat presented the project to the committee . ■ A single door will be used on the narrow end of the structure that is facing the road . ■ Building will be roughly 50 to 55 feet setback from Main Street . ■ Steve Bergquist moved to accept as presented . Carol Appleton seconded . j ■ All voted in favor. t 2 Brewster Historic District Committee / Minutes of November 5, 2020 Meeting H41-20475 John and Carol Ericsson, 380 Tubman Road, Map 55 Lot 139 Roof ■ David Tubman was in attendance on behalf of the homeowners . ■ Mr. Tubman stated that the homeowner would like to replace the existing red cedar shingled roof to asphalt material ■ Chairman Trabulsie confirmed that the roof would be 5" architectural Weatherwood in color . ■ The committee members will perform an informal site visit to the property . ■ Tom Turcketta , moved to continue to the December 3rd meeting . George Carey seconded . ■ All voted in favor. H - 11-20476 Helga and Jeffrey Dyer, 41 Cahoon Road, Map 93 Lot 57 Roof Mounted Solar Panels ■ The homeowner was represented by Alyssa Provinzano of Vision Solar . ■ Mr. Turcketta noted that the five panels in the front of the home are visible and do not meet the historical characteristics of this area . ■ Mr . Bergquist and Mr . Turcketta noted that the panels do not meet the minimal visual impact as outlined in the Bulletin . ■ Chairman Trabulsie stated that the panels that are located on the rear of the home are acceptable . ■ Contractor will look into removing the 5 panels on the front of the home and place them on the back . ■ Tom Turcketta moved to continue to the December 3, 2020 meeting . Carol Appleton seconded . ■ All voted in favor. i H- 11-20477 Jack and Nancy Drake, 200 Brier Lane, Map 48 Lot 45 Roof Mounted Solar Panels ■ This application has been continued to the December 3 , 2020 meeting . a S- 11-20478 Rubyanne Calderwood, 3820 Main Street, Map 126 Lot 58 Sign ■ Ruby Calderwood was present and reviewed the plans for a sign to be placed on the front of the barn at the property noted above . ■ Chairman Trabulsie read into record the sign specification sheet . ■ Carol Appleton moved to approve as presented .
